This season's batch of anime looks really delicious, so delicious I'm running out of disc space to save them...
First up is GOSICK, a truly beautiful anime set in 1924 Europe with a truly moe heroine, Victorique. Together with Japanese transfer student Kujo, they start solving mysteries and getting all tsundere. You may call it something like Detective Conan, but Conan do not (and will never ever have) a moe girl character. Take that!
A girls harem with mecha suits... what's not to like? Infinite Stratos features a lucky guy Ichika, who is the only male attending a mecha-piloting academy. Naturally, this means he got to be surrounded by lots of girls, and be piloting mecha suits (called IS) and kicking lots of mecha butt.
Fast gaining popularity as the Mahou Shoujo (magical girl) series with super dark twists, Puella Magi Madoka Magika is a story of a girl Madoka as she goes through series after series of grotesque, horrific events which involves near-death (and death) experiences which prompted her to become a Mahou Shoujo and to obtain one, single wish. Beware the Kyube!
Beelzebub is an out-of-this-world story about the delinquent Oga Tatsumi, and his tribulations in raising (and trying and failing to pass to someone else) the Demon Lord baby Beelzebub (or Baby Beel, for short). The cliched Beel Thundershock Cry may be irritating after a while, but that does not stop Oga from using his demonic powers to kick serious delinquent butt :D
Oniichan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!! directly translates to "I Don't Love My Brother At All!", which means there will be lots of incestual brotherly love (thank God they're not related by birth). A guilty pleasure, this one, but I just can't stop coming back for more cat-and-penguin fights. Recently added into my watch list is Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?. After reading the manga, it was too difficult to resist watching the anime. A zombie resurrected by a necromancer to find his killer becomes a Masou Shoujo (yes, Masou Shoujo) and battles Megalos and hot vampire ninjas? What type of storyline is THAT??
