Litt Tak Warehouse Sale 2-5 Dec

Against my mother's wishes, I went to the Litt Tak warehouse at Cheras to have a look at the Gundams they have on offer. Before that, I was eagerly scanning the Net for news and updates, as the poster is really tempting...


After reading reviews on their amazing bargains here, here and here, I am truly tempted to try... just a look, perhaps... The highlights were the MG offers on GM ver. 2.0 (RM 70, cheapest price for a MG) and Destiny Clear Color Ver. (RM140 only! It's limited edition, so the prices are above RM250 now...), the NG VS Astray 1/100s (RM50 only! Said to be sold out within 3 hours into the sale...) and the interesting HG Evangelion-00 Movie Ver. (from 3500 yen down to RM50! Crazy!)

Piles upon piles of Gunpla... no wonder the boxes get so damaged...

I was not expecting to get any Gundam offers today, as it is already the 4th and 2nd-last day into the sale. But when I get there just as the store is open, I was surprised to see extra stock on the VS Astrays! Of course the popular ones are gone (Vent Saviour and Mirage Frame 2nd Issue) but I grabbed onto the Nebula Blitz as soon as I can get one (one of my favourite designs, a nice rehash between the Blitz and Gold Frame Amatsu). I was thinking of getting the Eva-00 as well (actually, that's half the reason I went there in the first place), but after some thinking I only chose one of the either (any more would mean blood spillingz at home ><) After more looking around, I realized the MGs (and of course the PGs) are beyond my reach, though the Wing Zero Custom looked really good at RM126... Most of the good offers are already gone in the first few days, especially the MGs. Even at the sale, the PG prices are still around RM500 for one =.=" MG Kamen Rider Double CycloneJoker and LunaTrigger still available one box each this morning at RM125 each, and the HGs are quite cheap too (HG 1/144 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G at RM54! HGUC Sinanju at RM87! HG Seravee GNHW/B at RM60!) @@

Interesting quote overheard from one of the female customers looking at the younger kids' toys: "Don't ask me what they're doing over there... I can never understand boy's toys."

Nearly half an hour into the sale, the Gunpla section is already becoming overcrowded, so not wanting to be sandwiched, I bid thee adieu, Warehouse... will visit again the next sale XD

... though I would have really desired to 'tapau' this as well. But after watching this video my desire is lessened somewhat.

Actually, the location's not far at all... about 20 minutes drive from Pantai Hillpark, and tol only RM1 to and fro. If you're anywhere near KL, just give the place a visit (preferably at 9am) as I believe the staff are releasing some new stock every day.

PS. Last night my housemates stayed overnight at Sunway Pyramid just to get a SE Android phone for 50% off... It's still Rm449.90 after the discount... Rich betul them, heheh...
